We have completed hiring for Site Directors and Teen Staff Coordinators for this
    summer's B-SAFE Program and are currently interviewing for Teaching
    Specialists and Lead Counselors.

    Program Description and Key Dates (For Both Positions)

    The B-SAFE Program (The Bishop’s Summer Academic & Enrichment Program)
    is a seven-week, full-day, academic and enrichment program serving young
    people from first grade through high school. The goal of the program is to build a
    community where all people feel safe, feel big, and feel connected. This summer
    we will be running ten programs in six Boston area neighborhoods. Each site will
    include academic programs in reading, writing and math; technology classes;
    visual and performing art workshops; recreational activities; and many field trips.
    A healthy breakfast and lunch will be served each day, along with snack. While
    based in Episcopal churches and schools, the B-SAFE Program has no required
    religious component for staff or youth.

    For middle school youth, we run a Youth Leadership Corps that includes all of
    the above activities, along with leadership trainings, community service
    opportunities, and meeting with local political officials.

    For high school youth, we run a CIT (Counselor-in-Training) program that is a paid
    summer job.
